Tiger Woods 08 used to work fine.. crashed, now it won't load.

You need to right click on the desktop icon and set it to run with windows XP, this should take care of the problem

maybe overheating do you have a good air flow in your pc case.....

go to the website and look for a patch. then try to update your graphics cards drivers and then even possibly reinstall your game. If none of those work yes it is probably just your computer...sorry

try downloading all patches for the game and matching your screen resolution to what the game runs on.

Normally this problem comes if you have pirated copy of the game or if someone has made a pirated copy of your game code which is given to you when you by the game. What you can do is you can try reinstalling the game. Before that first uninstall the game, than cleanup your computer using disk cleanup utility which comes with the Windows Xp. After cleanup try to install the game and install full game with custom option no express or typical option. I hope this could solve your problem.

Which Operating system are you using? How much free space on hard drive? Does the disc player work for everything else?

Well Vista is prolly the issue, there are several programs that run on my system that vista will simply not allow me to load. Try loading xp?

Try lookin for a fix on the tiger woods 08 site, and consult windows.com for solutions to gaming issues, but mostly I'd say it's just Vista being a terd.

Clean the disk, make sure there is no scratches than contact the seller of the item if you're sure it's perfectly fine-looking and tell them your story, they should trade it in depending on where you got it.

I think it's the game's compatibility problem on PS3. 360 version has no problems.
I think there is a patch on the PSNetwork for the game.
