If the engine oil was full of antifreeze when the intake gasket went bad, then there is a good chance that there may be some cam and/or lifter damage. A more likely cause of your problem would be that the push rods got mixed up when you put it back together. The intake and exhaust rods are different lengths. If this is the case, and you have turned the engine over, there is a good chance that you now also have a bent pushrod and intake valve. The exhaust pushrod is the longer one and if you mix them up, the piston will contact the intake valve because it will not be able to close due to the longer pushrod. This will bend or break the pushrod and bend the valve stem.

On the 3.8 engine it is on the front of the motor by the waterpump. Just unplug it, unbolt it and remove it. On the 3.4 engine, you have to remove the Power steering pump to get to the sensor.

Keeping the pushrods in order on an engine isn't because of certain ones being longer than others. Pushrods develop an unique wear pattern with the lifter, and if you change them around, they won't seal anymore, and won't carry oil to the top of the valve train. This will result in your valve guides wearing out prematurely, and causing excessive wear. If they haven't been kept in order, you should replace the lifters and pushrods.

You need to get the codes read to verify,but i think your in need of coil pack or wires.

You may be able to use them,there should be enough adjustment to make them work.FordMotorsports and Crane make a pushrod that is 8.640 which is what I used with those rockers.To check fit install 1 pushrod and 1 rocker on #1 cyl turn the engine over by hand 2 revolutions and then check and make sure the rocker tip is dead center on the valve,if it is you're good to go.

Crank the engine until the mark on the damper aligns with the TDC mark on the timing tab and the engine is in #1 firing position.

To adjust a valve back off the adjusting nut until lash is felt at the pushrod. Tighten the nut until all lash is removed. This can be determined by rotating the pushrods with your fngers. When all lash is removed the pushrod will stop rotating. When all play is removed rotate the nut one full turn.

With the engine in #1 firing position the following valves can be adjusted:
Exhaust 1,3,4,8
Intake 1,2,5,7

Crank engine one full revolution - The following valves can now be adjusted:
Exhaust 2,5,6,7
Intake 3,4,6,8

Important: Place the valve train parts in a rack in order to ensure that they are installed in the same location from which they were removed. Intake pushrods measure 144.18 mm (5.68 in) long. Exhaust pushrods measure 152.51 mm (6.0 in) long

try putting in 1/2 once of oil in #2and#5 turn engine over for 2 seconds then hook up the compression gauge and check compression if there is then the cylinders got wash out if compression doesnt come up you have broke the spring or bent the valve.
