Hi Brittina,

You can Click on "Repair Directory" at the bottom of this screen. Then Click on " Video Game Consoles" I know I saw one repair shop listed in the UK. If they are too expensive, Contact me at [email protected].

Bottom internal touch screen cracked on ds lite-how do we get it repaired

Unless you are comfortable of taking it apart yourself and ordering the part online.
I'd suggest going here.

Top Screen of DS Lite broken

Replace upper screen and the Upper front bezel.
Or replace the upper screen and the complete DS Lite Housing. You can find them on the well known auction sites. Please be aware that you must know what your are doing. If in doubt, send it to Nintendo or a local Nintendo repair service

I don't know of a repair center but can offer to purchase them from you if you don't think you can repair them yourself. I can help with walking you through each repair if you think you can do it.

Broken nintendo ds lite screen

Contact Nintendo about product warrenty. If it is still under warrenty, I highly suggest you send it to them for them to repair. If the warrenty has expired, you can contact Nintendo to check for replacement parts or to find out their policies on equipment repairs.

Nintendo DS Lite Top Screen -Stopped workign completely

I have a solution! I am a mechanical engineering student at Purdue. My little brother spilled water on his DS lite and the screens had little weird warbly spots on it, but it still worked. He asked me if I could fix it.
I bought replacement screens for it and went to work tearing it apart. Once I got the screens replaced, I put it back together and tried it. It worked perfectly, but then something happened and it stopped altogether. After that, when I would slide the power switch on, the light blinked on and the bottom screen turned on. Then, the unit quickly powered-off and that was the end of it.
After a lot of research I found what the problem was. It was discovered that a lot of DSs were "Bricking," or stopped working, same problems as you guys have. You need to reroute some sections of the motherboard to bypass defunct safety mechanisms. If you would like more information, please email me at [email protected]. As each case can vary. I have repaired a large number of DSs and DS lites. Chances are, I can help you too!

Nintendo DS lite

Hi there, when you plug the charger in does the light go red and then turn off again? It sounds to me like the connection from the top screen to the bottom section of the console that contains the mainboard has become damaged or loose which is causing the console to short circuit. It is also possible that it has blown the fuse due to the loose connection, the fuse is F2 which can be repaired and as long as the loose connection is resolved then the console would then power up fine. Obviously the top part of the console which will not stand up on its own is a different problem and is caused either by a crack in the casing or a broken hinge barrel. It can be repaired by someone who knows what they are doing - I do repairs of this kind frequently. Hope this helps!
