Stops at the end of every song

This is a job for a Technician of that brand. The unit is not knowing the pause mode is activated so there may be a bad cable or solder joint linking a mechanical IC to that of the main processor.

I don't see anything online to suggest you can jog with it or otherwise jar it and expect it to play. Some players have a cache to reduce or eliminate loss of audio when the laser temporarily goes off-track.

Your Uncle's player is stuck in INTRO mode. To remedy this problem
1. Play a song
2. press the button on the side of the player
3. Select PLAY MODE
4. Choose NORMAL

CD problem.

It sounds like you need to replace Toner Cartriage

On closer look (after my long road trip to test this out), I realize when you hit Browse, there's a button on the bottom titled Play All. If you select this button, the buttons mentioned above work as intended, and the Forward, Backward buttons bring you to the next or previous songs in the list.

Not much you can do.

You could rename all your tracks, and put them in one folder.

EG

ALBUM NAME - 01
ALBUM NAME - 02
ALBUM NAME - 03


ALBUM NAME - 10
ALBUM NAME - 11 ETC.

This way, the tracks will play in order within each album.

Use 2 digit track numbers or they will play 1,10,11,2,3,4, etc

Try syncing with Window Media Player 10 or 11

hold mode button for a few seconds, then select the play mode option, then select how you want it to play thruogh songs, that may be the problem..

Jayron, is the motor jogging? start to spin, stop, start to spin stop. If so, your motor is jogging between the high and low start windings. The motor during spin should start on the high speed windings and stay there until most of the water is drained. GE came out with a new motor, harness and run cap because of this. If you have a meter, there should be a white and white/red wire going to the motor. If you have a steady 120V and it's doing this jogging, replace the motor with the kit...Let me know if this the issue, Catriver..post back.
