SOURCE: water leaking from out of the heppa filter

Reasons for that to happen:
a) You have tilted the vac while vacuuming
b) Used the Rainbow without separator (basket like thing on the bottom of the motor)
c) Overfilled the rainbow tank with water (may have happened when shampooing with AquaMate)

Clean and install back the separator, remove HEPA, Set the Rainbow on empty water pan (with HEPA removed) turn it on for a while so everything will dry. Install new HEPA.

You will have to get a new HEPA filter (you can find them HERE)

Good Luck,
Rocky

Why does metallic cover keep blowing off when operating?

Hey there! It sounds like your vacuum may be clogged causing it to redirect the air flow which may be causing the cover to blow off. To check the vacuum for clogs disconnect the hose from the cleaner and the wand, use a broom stick to gently loosen and remove any clogs from hose. Also check the wand and the nozzle for blockages. If it is the filter cover that is coming off and there are no clogs, the tabs on the filter cover may be broken. Contact a local service center for information on replacing the filter cover. Reference part 59135033. Or you may contact Hoover Customer Service at 1-800-944-9200. Hope this helps!

I want to know WHY my HEPA filter and cover blow off my unit with force each time I turn the unit on and start sweeping...Help?

Vacuum cleaners actually blow air through the filtration system. Over time particles will block the pores in the filter which doesn't allow enough air to pass through it and pressure will build up behind the filter and has to go 'somewhere'. Either clean the filter or replace it, and be certain to properly reinstall the assembly before turning it on.

Why cant i keep my hepa filter and cover on my new navigator?? help?

Are you sure that you are correctly connecting the filter, and flipping the tabs to "lock" it into the "closed" position.

Shark Navigator blowing front filter out of the vacum cleaner.

Dear sir, This is the most likely cause of this problem: Be sure that the top tabs and the bottom lock clip are not damaged. (red arrows on photos of my own unit) These hold the filter in place. If damaged you may try several layers of super glue, or oder replacement part from shark.com parts for this model. good luck.

Dust will blow out of the front vent of my Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Vacuum. It seems to be shooting out dust that I just vacuum up, but I can't be certain.

Dust blows out of the filter vent is usually caused by a plugged filter drop the filter door on the back, replace or for a temporary fix blow out the filter

Vacuum Blows out filter side but won't **** and all hoses are clear

Did you change the belt recently? Some belts can go on backwards (blowing out through the filter) and cause this problem. Hope this helps and good luck!

My shop vac blows dust as soon as it's turned on and throughout use. I have changed filters, nothing is helping. What part of my vac can not get wet, or is there a better way to clean out the system?

there should be a cover or sock over the filter, this will stop the dust.the paper filter is the part that can not get wet. if you don't have a cover for your filter use an old sock or something simular to a sock.

Has the cover got tabs that is suppose to catch when it's installed? check and see if there are broken plastic ends either on the vac or cover. It should be able to catch to hold it on.
