Need owners manual for Curves Digital Weight Scale. Need to reset and can't remember how to access the body fat and bone density feature.

Digital scales purport to measure your body fat through a process called BIA, or bioelectrical impedance analysis. Essentially, it clocks the speed that electricity travels through you. The scale runs a low-level electric current through your body, using your feet as positive and negative electrodes. The current encounters different levels of impedance, or resistance, from fat versus muscle. The scale measures this impedance, and throws it together with other factors (age, sex, height) to come up with your BMI, or body mass index.

You cannot clear out the memory but you can overwrite each Person. I could not find instructions online anywhere, so I looked at Weight Watchers scales and found a sililar one, downloaded the .pdf instructions and followed them on my Curves four button scale.

Hold down the button for the person you want to setup (1 or 2) until the displays shows the height and the number of feet start blinking. Use the up and down arrows to change the numbers and the Set button to move to inches, age and gender.
