I am using Casio HR-150TM printing calculator (using electricity) When the figures are being keyed in, they are overlapping. Why? Please help.

There are a few potential reasons why the figures on your Casio HR-150TM printing calculator are overlapping:
  1. The paper roll may not be loaded correctly. Make sure that the paper roll is loaded correctly and that the end of the paper is properly aligned with the paper guide.
  2. The paper roll may be running low. Try replacing the paper roll with a new one.
  3. The print head may be dirty. Clean the print head with a dry cloth or a small brush to remove any debris.
  4. The ribbon may be worn out. Replace the ribbon if it appears to be worn out or damaged.
  5. The calculator may not be level. Make sure that the calculator is on a level surface to ensure proper printing.
  6. The calculator may be malfunctioning. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the calculator may be malfunctioning. Contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center for assistance.
If the problem persist, it's recommended to check the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Need a manual for a Casio HR 100 TM adding mach

Casio has most of their calculator and adding machine manuals available here: http://support.casio.com/en/manual/manuallist.php?cid=004 . Select Printing Calculators in the first drop-down menu. Then select the HR-100TM/HR-150TM in the second drop-down menu. Press the Search button. This should get you to the product support page: http://support.casio.com/en/manual/manualfile.php?cid=004016014 .

The direct link to the user manual is currently http://support.casio.com/en/manual/004/HR-100TM_HR-150TM_WC_EN.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Is there a users manual?

casio, apparently, don't provide a user manual for this model ?
I found a few dubious links (some were dubious in content [they more like a casio mini-catalogue, I didn't investigate], and some looked like spam [they seemed to want to install an installer progam - I didn't investigate these further either.)
I found this which I didn't download or try in any way
CASIO HR 150TM Manuals
be careful with downloads, after you download them before opening do a virus scan, and be on the look out for default liading of unwanted software.

How do you get %, like taxes and charging a fee

Example if you want to charge a person 8% of $20 dollars just multiply 20*1.08=21.60 and that gives you the total amount to charge them.

If your total amount is 20 and you charged 8% and want to know the before tax amount you do the opposite 20/(1.08)=18.52

Tax-

The Tax- function allows you to take the total cost (sub-total + tax) and it will subtract the tax and leave you with the sub-total (before tax).

Example:

If the item you have is $5 and the tax is set to 5%... when you use the Tax+ key it'll give you 5.25.

Conversely, when you enter 5.25 and press the Tax- key and it will give you the base price of $5.

So the Tax- key removes the tax from the total amount.
It doesn't remove the percentage OF the total amount.

How do I get this calculator to substract

Big calculators work a little different than handheld calculators. Like the above commentor explained, if you have a basic "whats 100 minus 20?" You have to entered as 100 + 20 -- And when you hit the minus button at the end, it will give you the total. 100 is the positive number, and the 20 is the negative number that your subtracting. Also you can hit 20 -- 100 + and get the same total because you entering 20 as the negative and 100 as the positive, just in reverse.

My calculator will not let me add or subtract percentages.

I have a Casino MS-80S and yea, the percentage works different. As example to take 100 and subtract 10%, this is what I do: 100 X 10% - and then I get the answer 90 after I press the minus key. To add the percentage instead, 100 X 10% + will give me an answer of 110, after I press the plus key.

To change the task number you must press and hold % (rate set) for 3 to 5 seconds, should appear tax XX %, now type your tax number and press % again and AC. To test type "100" press TAX + and the result should be 110, if your tax rate is 10% for example.
