First off you did the right thing, however you need to leave it for more than just a night, more like 48 hours at least,add a good amount of rice.

Replacing the screen likely would not work as you probably have damaged more than just the screen(the main board) when you tried to turn it on if there was any water in it then you shorted it out.

You will have to replace the phone if you can not dry it out more and it works on some miracle.

If you have your warrenty, take your phone to tmobile and they will fix it for you free.

The same thing happened to me today. I tried removing and replacing the battery and SIM card, then waited a few minutes and tried again. After this didn't work, I called T-Mobile and the lady, Shawn, told me to check the small box to the left of the SIM card. If it's red, you have water damage, and you need to order a replacement. But your Sidekick does have a warranty, just make sure to call them and order a [free] replacement before your warranty expires. Glad I could be of help. :)

that happened to me before.
all u have to do is take ur sim and battery out and then wait for 5 minutes and re enter them into ur phone...!

heres what i would say. let it charge for more than hr, and this bring it up to speed..if not i believe the battery may be defective, i just experienced this problem last night..the battery happen to be defective, then put another battery after awhile i went to sleep woke up, and it wouldn start...i let it charge for a while and it was good as new

my sidekick 3 wont turn on at all,, it charges but when i go to turn it on. nothing.. how can it get fixed or wat kind of profesional help could i get to fix it?
