SOURCE: replacement band for nike watch

I wear the smaller, womens' version of the Nike Oregon. Nice watch. I was attracted to it by the replaceable battery feature, but found out the strap goes long before the battery and the joy of ownership goes out the window with the price of Nike wrist-band replacement. I held onto my broken banded watch for awhile, and came up with a solution. First, don't try removing the screws that secure the watch-band pins. Not sure how they work, but I tried several times without luck. Even had a jeweler look at it without success.

I went to Kohl's and purchased a black velcro Timex replacement band for $8. Again this is the for the smaller version of the Oregon. The width of the timex band in 3/4". It includes a elastic band to secure the watch. This elastic band runs under the back of the watch and over the two pins. It is secured to a faux leather tab (with emblems), which is in turn attached to the velco band. Using a razor knife, I detached the faux leather pad from the velcro band and ran it under the watch pins, then reattached it with a touch of Gorilla glue. Be careful to wipe off any excess as Gorilla glue expands as it dries. Finally I blacked out the Timex advertising with a black felt permanent marker.

No reason to think this wouldn't work on the larger, mens' version of the same watch.

Try http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop2/index.php/user/watchstrap and
search their site, they seem to have a large selection.

They may have your watch under "special brands".

Otherwise you can search under sizes or types.

It looks like the outer steel ring on the back (with the 6 indentations) must be removed before the strap can be taken off. You will need a watch case opener for this - these go for very little money on auction sites. Possibly, the battery hatch needs to come off first.

Watch band is broken need a new band . unable to find a repair in australia as advised no replacement band are available

These watches appear to be made by Seiko and they have a service center at the address below. Their web site http://www.nike.com/timing/ says that they will repair or replace broke straps if it is within warranty. Is yours in this position. They do not say what happens if it is out of warranty though!

They suggest you ring them before taking any action (like sending it to them).

I have a Nike team VJ320010 wrist watch that needs a new band. Where might I find that replacement? Thank you! Colleen

If you go to their web site, (www.nike.com/timing) you will find a store locator on the "Support" page.

You should be able to find your nearest store. If there isn't a convenient one then you could send your watch to a service center.
