My 2008 Hyundai Getz fuel gauge shows full ,when it reaches about the three quarter mark it fall direct to empty what do I need to do to resolve this problem

Is under the circular plate on the gas tank. This is where you start paying for parts. Whenever you remove the sender mechanism take masking tape and Mark each wire you unplug number each or color code them. Make a rough drawing of where each wire goes. First disconnect the positive side of the battery cable from the battery.check all wires if they are properly installed ,okay. If loose individually crimp each connector, if harnessed through a connector check each pin for proper connection. Check the sender, by reconnecting battery turn on the car do not start obseve the fuel gauge is it working. If so you saved the expense of replacing the sender. If you don't get a desired operation now it gets a bit costly. If you buy used you get a 50-50 chance of it not working. You buy new you get new, be careful to disconnect the battery when replacing a stray wire touch or wrong connection buys you a burnt out sender. If you don't feel secure in doing this repair take it to a mechanic.

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Suburban: Fuel gauge reads empty, tank is half full

Youre gauge is controlled by a plunger in the fuel tank which is attached to the sensor and the fuel gauge. it sounds like when the plunger goes down half way its either getting stuck down lower then it should. Needs replacing. Any mechanic can do this install for you.

SOURCE: Fuel gauge spun around and is now stuck below the empty mark.

I got a magnet from an old stereo speaker and used it to flip it around on 06 Maxima, took five minutes.

2008 Hyundai Santa fe MIL light reset ,gas tank was at quarter full , I filled it up with gas ,gas gauge went to empty and MIL light lit next morning

Grounding is very important with sensors, especially with fuel systems. Your sensors could be defective as believe it or not, they do wear out or your float is sticking

probably stuck or damaged fuel sender in the tank.. you could try banging the bottom of the fuel tank to un stick it but if that dont work it will need to be replaced .

The petrol gauge, from empty to quarter how much litres is it? And from quorter to half? From half to three quarter? Lastly from three quarter to full?

What you need to understand here is that's how some gauges work its not the space shuttle it dosn't have to be .
The best way to figure it out is to first know how much the tank holds Drive it until its at half a tank according to the gauge then fill it up see how much fuel it takes so you can't put any more fuel in the tank.
You can do this same thing at any level 3/4 1/4 or E to see how much reserve fuel left after E
Likely nothing is wrong with the gauge..

My fuel needle showe quarter and my ibiza 2006 shut off need more 5 liters

Fuel gauges are never precision instruments, but you can fix this to show at least empty when it's empty.
If you can't access the top of the fuel tank you need to drain and then remove the fuel tank and take out the fuel sender unit. Otherwise just remove the sender unit from the tank.
Hold the wire with the float on it firmly and bend the wire to raise the float slightly.
Replace the float and check the fuel gauge reading. Repeat the procedure until the gauge gives an acceptable reading.
That should stop you from running out of go juice before the gauge hits zero, but you might not have a completely full reading when you fill up. Live with it..

When i start, the fuel gauge darts around the quarter marker then settles on empty no matter the amount of fuel.

in the dash, there is a small step down transformer, from 12 volts to about 3. Seems to not be working have it checked out.
