Sounds like either the thermostat has gone open circuit or the element has gone open circuit, have you tried different heat settings just in case it`s just one on the elements or sensors that have failed?? If you`re handy with a meter, unplug the dryer from the mains, Remove the top cover and you should see a large shiny metal box on top covered in what looks like spongy tin foil, somewhere on that box you should see a couple of wires going to a sensor which is screwed to this box, disconnect one of the wires and read across the connectors, it should read short circuit, if it doesn`t, then this sensor has failed. There may be two or three, some are thermostats, and there may be one which is a thermal fuse. They should all read short circuit or low resistance. If they are OK, you then need to located the wires which go to the element inside the box. When you remove a wire from the element, (Only remove one wire at a time so that you can reconnect it immediately after the test) you should get a reading across all the connectors, ranging from about 20 ohms to about 200 ohms, anything above this and the element has failed. I hope this is helpful, Ian
