LG Washer Dryer F1403RD low drying efficiency. Any ideas

Folks. I have a LG Condenser Washer Dryer and cant figure whats wrong. The dryer heats up fine - and the fans run. Water flows through and get pumped out - but after an hour clothes are steaming hot but not drying. I have cleaned out the condenser - but still no joy. The fans and heating are all fine.

If it’s taking a long time to dry, check venting for obstructions or kinks.

My dryer wont dry laundry in1 cycle

A lot of the times if a dryer starts taking numerous cycles to dry clothes it is because the vent to the outdoors has become clogged with lint. This keeps the dryer from being able to discharge the moist air. You can buy dryer vent brushes with a wire attached that you can use to keep the vent clean.

Indesit IS70C tumble dryer not heating

This caused by one of two possible things. Either you have poor air flow, or a clogged vent preventing air from flowing freely and therefor making the dryer short cycle, which in turn will take you two or three times to dry yor clothes, or the heating element has gone bad, burnt in half and is making contact with the case to provide it just enough power to barely heat. The second thing is a very rare occurance. I would turn the dryer on, find out where the air vents out to, and with the dryer running, go to where it vents and check to see if there is a strong flow of air. 9 times out of 10 that is going to be your problem. Another way to check air flow is to just pull the vent off the back and let the dryer run and see if your clothes dry faster. If you do it that way and they still take a long time to dry, then you'll probably need to replace the heating element

My LG dryer seems like it is not drying clothes as well. In what used to be a standard amount of drying time, the clothes are still damp. Could the heating element be going out.

I would check your venting to make sure its not clogged. This will cause longer dry times because the dryer cant efficiently remove moisture. Just go outside and feel the air coming out it should be fairly strong, if not the replace or clean your vent line. Good Luck
