SOURCE: How do I return an

As long as the item is within 30 days based on the date of purchase, then you should have no problem returning this to Amazon. All you have to do is to go to their Return Center and fill out the information.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/css/returns/homepage.html/ref=hp_901888_gen_orc

Before you do this, you might need to check too if you bought it directly from Amazon or thru Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace means that you bought it thru a reseller that displays their products in Amazon. In this case, you might need to contact the reseller directly.Phone numbers are usually located in the invoice you received. Never open the duplicate nor put any markings on its box. This will let resellers charge you a restocking fee which costs around 10-20%.

Best converter for HDMI (ARC) port on TV to onkyo tx-ds555 receiver

Your receiver appears to have a digital optical input, so no converter would be needed, just an optical fiber cable (TOSLINK) between the two optical ports. However, the manual for your receiver states that several functions don't work unless there is also an analog connection. If you must have those, you can use an HDMI audio extractor. You may also need an adapter cable to convert 3.5 mm stereo audio to a pair of RCA phono plugs to make the analog connection.

Regent-HT-2004 To new Samsung but no sound comes out. Regent has only rca cables tv only has hdmi and optical. Have tried 3 different hook ups - rca to hdmi adapter with its own power source, hdmi to rca...

You probably will get the best result if you use a digital to analog audio converter. Amazon has a number of models: https://www.amazon.com/DA-Converters/b?ie=UTF8&node=3224445011 . You will need to provide the optical audio cable. You connect the TV's optical audio out to the converter's input. Then use the converter's RCA output to the home theater system's audio input.

The TVs HDMI port is only an HDMI input (possibly with Audio Return Channel). This isn't usually resolved by an HDMI-RCA Converter. This converter might have worked to split off the audio signal from a Blu-ray player with an HDMI cable to the converter and then another HDMI cable to the TV and the RCA audio going to the Home Theater system.

I hope this helps.

In what port do I use to install an ONN digital optical audio cable? I have a Seiki Model SE322FS

Based on the specs from CNET, the Seiki SE322FS does not have an optical digital audio port. There is a coaxial digital audio port which looks like a standard RCA jack. The main difference is that it will be a single output jack, instead of the groups of RCA input jacks (component and composite audio/video ports). See https://www.cnet.com/products/seiki-se322fs/specs/ . See https://www.lifewire.com/coaxial-vs-optical-digital-cable-3134605 for some of the pros and cons for each type of digital audio cable.

Since the TV will be your audio source, you'll need a coaxial to optical digital audio converter. This is one example: https://www.cablestogo.com/product/40018/coaxial-to-toslink-optical-digital-audio-converter-taa-compliant . Note: usually the cables are not included with the converter. Thus, you'll need to get a coaxial digital audio cable separately. A different converter is needed to go from an optical digital audio output to a coaxial digital audio input.

I hope this helps.

How do i connect my LG soundbar (model number:NB5530A) to my bush smart tv (model:LCD40883F1080P)

The LG NB5530A only has a digital optical audio input. The LCD40883F1080P has a digital (S/PDIF) optical audio output above the RCA audio output jacks on the back connection panel.

Your best audio option is to use this connection. When new, the NB5530A came with a digital audio cable. Remove the protective plastic covers from the cable ends. Plug in the cable using the correct orientation on both sides. If the original optical audio cable is missing or damaged, purchase a replacement and use it. (The audio and power ports on the NB5530A can be covered by a plastic cover. Remove it if necessary and replace it.

If you want to use the analog audio output on the TV, you will need a optical digital to analog audio converter. You still have to provide the digital audio cable between the TV and the converter as well as the RCA cables. See https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Optical-Analog-audio-converter/dp/B004C4WPXA for one example.

See page 8 of the manual for the LCD40883F1080P for the picture of the TV's back panel connections ; it's available at Manuals Lib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/876290/Bush-Lcd40883f1080p.html?page=8#manual . See pages 6 and 10 of the NB5530A manual for the included cables and location of the connections. The manual is available on the product support page: http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-NB5530A .The direct link to the manual for the NB5530A is currently http://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=KROWM000575517.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I have a lg sound bar optical cable but no optical cable on Panasonic tv how do I connect sound bar

Are there any other connector inputs on your soundbar?
If not you may need to purchase a digital to analog converter. Fiio makes one as do many other companies. Easily found on Amazon for about $20.00.
You hook up your tv's RCA audio output to the RCA input on the converter and then the optical cable to the converter then to the soundbar. That's how I would solve this issue.

My soniq LCD TV has no audio out ports it has

If you want the best quality then the answer is to use the TV's Optical output. This sends a signal in digital form as a series of light pulses. This isn't directly compatible with the stereo input of a sound bar. There's no kind of cable or plug adapter you can buy that converts this just through a piece of wire. So you would buy an Optical to Stereophono/RCA converter that can translate light pulses into a stereo signal. Here's a link to one from Amazon. It is less than 10 Pounds sterling

Want to connect fiber optic audio cable

If you have something providing an optical signal, you will need something such as a receiver that will accept and decode the optical signal. If you are able to make use of the HDMI instead of the optical audio channel, this would be the easiest bet. Otherwise you are looking at needing to get a receiver if you want to have more than 10W of stereo output, or if you simply wish to convert the optical signal into something the TV can understand, any fiber optic to analog converter, such as Amazon item B003OND0N4 (Search that string on Amazon)
