Samsung dmt300rfs gaskets

Yeah, those gaskets tend to stretch with age (and hot water). They need to be replaced with new gaskets.

Where is the float on my dishasher

he float on all dishwashers is on bottom, inside, where the water sits. It controls the water shut off point. They are usually not removavble for cleaning. You simply wipe around them and make sure nothing has accumulated or lodged underneath that would stop if from floating freely.

How do you fix the samsung dishwasher dmt300rss low water sensor

First be sure to disconnect/shut off water and power before beginning. Facing the washer pull it out. On the left side, outside, low, there is the water level sensor. It gets gunked up and trigger lever gets stuck. Clean it out and you will be good to go.

Over-level water error on samsung DMT300RFS

My DMT300RFS had the same symptoms, but the float chamber (fc) has a somewhat different configuration, and is white plastic, vs clear. PULL THE MAIN POWER CORD!!!! To remove the fc, first go inside the tub, and remove the round fixture that holds the larger chamber on the outside. The fc attaches to it. The round fixture is not threaded, and gentle use of channel locks will pop it off, after about a 1/8th turn (see arrows). My fc could nnot be removed unless the entire assembly is take off the outside of the tub. After the entire assembly is removed, disconnect any electrical connections. I had two. Release the clip holding the fc to the complete assembly (looks somewhat similar to the one pictured above--thanks capnjosh) then take the retainer clip off the fc feed hose, disconnect the hose and remove the fc from the dishwasher. It's tight! There are several capture clips holding the top onto the fc, but I decided not to fuss with them (breakage concern) and simply used hot water and dish soap to rinse the fc till gunk stopped coming out. Back together and all seems well! Best wishes.

Samsung DMT300RFS dishwasher; low-level water error

A Samsung service tech showed me how to fix this one. You can take that float and the white box apart from the dishwasher and once opened, if its like mine, there will be gunk on the float and in the box at the line where it fills with water. This gunk floats in there and prevents the float from swinging and activating the switch. Just clean that gunk out with a toothbrush, I end up doing mine about once every four months, and it should work fine again. This tech said to prevent this, make sure the water is hot at the beginning of the cycle and pre-rinse the dishes-but this doesn't seem to work with mine.
