MAP/BARO CT rng perform
SOURCE: I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GT, 3.8 Liter Motor.
Change the throttle sensor first, and see if the map sensor is a victum. throttle sensor is similar to an old volume reostat, on some cars and everything else tries to do react, and everything errors out.... My bet is throttle position sensor... But you never know, it CAN be both, just usually not both.
Testimonial: "Thank you very much for the answer. We'll try the Throttle Position sensor first. That does make sense as to what is happening."
SOURCE: what does map/baro circuit malfunction
The map sensor (manifold absolute pressure) don't know what the vehicle is but still,it's an altitude
sensing device,(vacuum +atmospheric pressure)
Way too many different ways ,
GM put's them on the engine'
Ford moves them around'
Chrysler ,they are way more critical to making the car run well
,need more info on the vehicle
SOURCE: I am getting check engine codes that read EGR Flow
Replace what ever the codes say needs replaced,,,start with the ERG,,,Than run the scan again, if that engine oil switch comes up after you replace the ERG than replace it. Always clear the codes after you read them.
SOURCE: I have a code P0108 Map/Baro Circuit High Input
the map/baro circuit could have an internal short suppling incorrect voltage to the wrong circuit.you need to check the voltages, ground, and return voltage at the sensor plug with it connected to the sensor with the key engine off and the car running to see if the sensor is getting the proper voltage and has a good ground, also check the plug itself as it could be the problem

Po300 is a misfire probably all three caused by a faultymap sensor
