SOURCE: I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GT, 3.8 Liter Motor.

Change the throttle sensor first, and see if the map sensor is a victum. throttle sensor is similar to an old volume reostat, on some cars and everything else tries to do react, and everything errors out.... My bet is throttle position sensor... But you never know, it CAN be both, just usually not both.

Testimonial: "Thank you very much for the answer. We'll try the Throttle Position sensor first. That does make sense as to what is happening."

SOURCE: what does map/baro circuit malfunction

The map sensor (manifold absolute pressure) don't know what the vehicle is but still,it's an altitude
sensing device,(vacuum +atmospheric pressure)
Way too many different ways ,
GM put's them on the engine'
Ford moves them around'
Chrysler ,they are way more critical to making the car run well
,need more info on the vehicle

SOURCE: I am getting check engine codes that read EGR Flow

Replace what ever the codes say needs replaced,,,start with the ERG,,,Than run the scan again, if that engine oil switch comes up after you replace the ERG than replace it. Always clear the codes after you read them.

SOURCE: I have a code P0108 Map/Baro Circuit High Input

the map/baro circuit could have an internal short suppling incorrect voltage to the wrong circuit.you need to check the voltages, ground, and return voltage at the sensor plug with it connected to the sensor with the key engine off and the car running to see if the sensor is getting the proper voltage and has a good ground, also check the plug itself as it could be the problem

03 3.0L Mazda 6 barometric pressure sensor location

Hi Anonymous, L3 engine 2.3L or
(Mazdaspeed 6)
3.0 L Duratec 30 V6????????????
post the VIN and then we see what is there.
got the TURBO with

map sensor is covered i the service manual for sure and the simple test.
the mostly never fail but vacuum to it can
so we clean it.
the engine parts locator for
(Mazdaspeed 6)3.0 L Duratec 30 V6
engine shows no such MAP sensor.
there is and egr boost baro sensor
why not do your own hunts in the service manualthe 3.0 liter uses MAF sensor, mass air flow to calculate fuel rates.
why not post a problem first.
like engine power low, or what ever it is
so the helper can be on the same page
btw
the 2.3L (L3 engine code) for sure has MAP sensor.
just incase it is L3 engine and not larger V6
here is (id 10) the map 2.3L only 4 cyl. not V6
v6 has none. (egr yes) egr baro is for egr testing only OBD2 .

2002 subaru forester p0328 knock sensor p0301 cyl 1 misfire p0303 cyl 3 misfire p0106 map/baro ckt rng perform

0106, 0301, and 0303 indicate large vacuum leak. Intake gaskets or map port broken. If the leak is noisy, it could also cause the 0328. Fix the leak and clear the codes to see if any come back.

Mapping codes P0107, P2263 & P2227 come up on scan tool what are these codes relating too? Ford Ranger 2008 not 2004 3.0 4 door

code p 0107 refers to manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor /barometric pressure (BARO) sensor --low input ====causes --wiring short to ground ---MAP sensor ---BARO sensor ---ECM
code p 2263 refers to turbo charger (TC) boost pressure /supercharger (SC) boost pressure ---performance problem====causes --mechanical fault
code p 2227 refers to BARO sensor -range / performance problem===causes wiring --- BARO sensor --- ECM
I would be testing the BARO sensor for a problem as it is listed for all 3 codes
if you don't have such a sensor you have a MAP sensor which is reading in the same area so test that as well
