SOURCE: bought model 3400 skil table saw. have no manual.

This model does not have a knob on the side.
There is only a locking lever on the front next to a single rotating wheel for height adjustments. To tilt the blade simply twist the locking lever to the left and push the height adjustment wheel to the right. It can be a bit stiff at times to move.

SOURCE: Manual Craftman professional router table model

I had the same problem as far as the manual is concerned. I emailed Bosch. They responded and told me this is actually a Vermont American router table, and said they would put a copy of the manual in the mail to me. I haven't received it yet.

How To Assemble A Rigid Bench Top Drill Press?

Rigid bench top drill press comes with an assembled head, but the chuck, handles, and belts need assembly. As the assembly progress, it becomes heavy eventually and may even require two people.
To help you assemble this Rigid bench top drill press, we have attached here step by step guide for you:
Step 1 Your first job is to unpack the drill press. The instructions are given on the top so that you will have no issue unpacking or assembling the tool.
Step 2 After you unpack, take the post and attach it to the base. As the press has too much oil on the post, you should wipe away all the oil and wax it afterward.
Step 3 You should clean the table post as well. So, wipe the oil off the table post using an oil-soaked paper and apply wax to it. If the oil remains, you can use a putty knife and scrape it off. The oil was used for a long boat ride to prevent rust.
Step 4 As the cleaning procedure is done, take the table and install the table in the table arm.
Step 5 The next step is putting drill head on a moving dolly and wheeling it over to the base. Now, tip the base and slide the drill head. Using your legs, lift and stand drill press up. You will not need another person for help if you use your leg doing so.
Step 6 This step requires installing the idler pulley and belts.
Step 7 After pulley and belt, install handles. You can choose the position depending on your habit. Most of the people install it on the right-hand side. But if you are a lefty, you can use left-hand side.
Step 8 Take a thick scrap and put it on the table. Wide open the chuck jaw and clean the mating surface of the shaft and the inner side of the chuck. Make sure to clean it nicely for keeping its stable position. Then, take the handle and press shaft in the chuck very tightly.
Step 9 There must be 60W bulb which is needed to be installed behind the handles in a small recess. If you do not find enough space to fit 60W bulb, you can press a CFL pigtail style up and reinstall the guard.
Step 10 The last step is to square your table to the quill. Combination table can also be taken in this case. It is required to use a bit which is straight and spins true.

Kenmore vacuum cleaner model no. 116. 5861279 belt replace

Do you need the belt or the directions for changing the belt? Sears Parts Direct has the manual for the 116.58612790 here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Vacuum-Parts/user-manuals/manual-downloads/Model-11658612790/0582/0640500?modelNumber=11658612790&diagramPageId=&documentId= . The direct link to the manual is http://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0802691.pdf . See pages 14-15 of the manual.

To replace the belt, you need to remove the light cover and then the light bulb. Press in the sides of the cover and lift to remove it. the bulb needs to be pushed in and then turned couter-clockwise. Remove the cover screws. Then flip over the Power Mate and use the flat blade screwdriver to release both tabs. Turn the Power Mate back to right side up and press on the handle quick release pedal and lower the swivel. Tilt the cover forward until it snaps free. Carefully, use your screwdriver to pop the brush supports free on both sides to remove the brush. Slide off the old belt. (If needed, slide off the brush supports and washers. Clean the brush before reassembling the unit. Then replace the brush supports and washers.) Push the belt on motor drive and then onto the brush sprocket. Push the brush supports back into place on the base. (Make sure that this isn't assembled upside down.) Then line up the front of the cover with the base and tilt the cover back into place. Press firmly until you hear both sides click into place. Replace the cover screws, light bulb and bulb cover.

The belt is available here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/Kenmore-Vacuum-Parts/742024/0020/116/Model-11658612790/0582/0640500.html . This is part number 5285; it's the direct replacement for the original 742024 belt.

I hope this helps.

My pinion arm works and lowers my drill bit but it will not go back up, it just stays down. Is there some sort of spring or adjustment that needs fixing so it will automatically go back up?

Most presses have a knob on the left with a spring in it just for this purpose. Mine is ancient and all I do is spin it and it tightens up. Check it out.

The chuck has come off my delta desktop drill press. nothing i can do will get it to stay on.

clean the spindle and the inside of the chuck with easy off oven cleaner. get it all very clean and then be sure to remove all of the debris. pound the chuck onto the spindle with either a rubber mallet or put a block of wood under the chuck and use a regular hammer. DO NOT hit the chuck directly with a steel hammer.

The shaft on my Delta floor mdoel press drill keeps sliding out

This sounds like a morse taper adaptor. if so look at the taper for any unusual wear. if none what I would do is get something like brake clean or similar product to remove all oil and grease. clean the shaft and the internal socket. wipe off with cleam paper towel after cleaning. retract the chuck jaws to prevent damage to the chuck and align the tang on adaptor with the internal socket. Take a piece of wood and hammer and hit the chuck seating the taper. You can also try using the table with a block of wood and the feed handle to seat it. If it continues to fall you have worn parts that need replaced. Good luck
