Guys i need help with my Alpine IVA D310E that display no disk although the disk is inside..? Also need to know if there is any firmware available for this unit that could fix the problem..?

SOURCE: comes up with disc error

cd cleaners usually cause more damage than good by scratching the eye that reads the cd. my recommendation is to try and find where your local alpine repair place is and bring it there.

SOURCE: No radio sound from my IVA-D310E

neither of those units use fibre optic cables! but it sounds like you puled out the antenna wire behind the head unit. if you try and search radio stations without the manual tune on and it keeps changing frequency on it and never stops then its the antenna plug.

XM Source not displayed
wow this is a tuffy,

OK HERE IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO FIX THIS
1.) download the firmware update for the alpine 9883
you will get it off the manufactures web page
2.) Install it,
3.) when ever an update comes out for your alpine IVA-W205 you can upgrade back up to that

The problem really is with the software, now there isnt a current fix for it as they havent found the problem yet. However the alpine 9883 firmware works on your model alpine and very damn well too i may say.. So thats the only way to fix it currently.

Alpine IVA-D310e radio problams
More than likely you got some wires crossed. The Aux or Accessory(usually the red wire, stays hot all the time so the radio can save your presets) the yellow wire is usually the main power. I would go back through your wiring and make sure no wires are crossed. I'm going on my experiences with installing radios and other equipment. hope this is helpful, if not sorry.
