Hi, on my JB5538 Wristech, even with brand new batteries, the unit never seems to inflate ! It developed this problem about 3 months ago out of the blue. Keep getting Err message. How do I fix it ? Th

either the compressor unit seals are damaged or you have a hole in the inflatable section either way it is not an easy fix and as they have come down in price dramatically over the past year i would suggest buying a new model & chucking this one away

Why does anOmron M7 Blood Pressure Monitor Cuff not fully inflate?

I have the BP760 model so I'm not entirely sure what the functionality differences would be. However from time to time I have had issues with the cuff not inflating. It is usually one of two things: the cuff is not positioned snugly enough on the arm (I have a skinny arm and sometimes need to enlist the help of a family member). The other time it has happened was when the inflation tube itself with so kinked and twisted that air could not flow through. You should also check to make sure that the inflation tube in securely connected to the unit. So make sure that the air supply from the cuff to the unit is not obstructed, and that the arm cuff is positioned properly and that you are not trying to put the cuff on over clothing. If you've checked all of this and/or you receive the error message of "Er", you should contact customer service. Hope this helps.

My blood pressure machine keeps giving me an error 3 it is a cvs brand

Several of the CVS brand blood pressure monitors are made by MicroLife USA. For those models, the Error 3 indicates that you may have been moving your arm while the unit was obtaining the readings. You need to repeat the measurement while staying still.

The other possible cause of the error are that the cuff didn't inflate in a reasonable length of time. Check that the cuff is properly placed on your arm. Also make sure that the inflation hose is tightly connected to the cuff socket on the unit.

I hope this helps.

What does it mean when you get a reading then 3 consecutive readings say EE

What is the pattern of the EE? If the two E's are on the same line, then you didn't inflate the cuff to a sufficient pressure. (Wait 2-3 minutes before trying again and then inflate the cuff to 40 mmHg higher than the previous attempt.)

If the Es are arranged vertically, then you overinflated the cuff. Any [ressure above 300 mmHg is beyond the range that this bp monitor can handle. If you reached this point by getting several underinflation alerts, ask your medical professional to test your bp and recommend the starting inflation level that you need.

Make sure that you have the cuff on properly. You may need to consider a different bp pressure cuff size to get an accurate reading.

I hope this.

My wristech bp moniter will only pump up to 08 and then it displays the error message, what's wrong with it?

You need to make sure that the bp is RIGHT over the pulse point, that is the only way for them to read. they are great little items, but I prefer the arm cuff, have used them for 15 years on all my patients, the reading seems to me to be more steady and accurate. but, I know you already have to wrist, so please check the locations that you are placing it on your wrist. Please write back should you need more info, would love to make sure you are on schedule..... Guy

I have a SmartLogic Life Brand Blood pressure monitor Model #5534. It wont work anymore.Either I start it and the cuff keeps inflating until I feel my arm is going to bust and I don't get a reading. Or I...

If it is new ask manufacturer for a replacement. or at least a larger cuff. THe cuff you are using maybe too big or too small for your arm for it to function correctly

It keep giving me a ee reading every time i try to use it

Hi. One of the most common error symbol that appears on this display panel is a EE with a down arrow and two numerals. The reason for the EE Error Indicator is usually caused because the cuff has been wrapped too loose. The cuff was under-inflated during the measurement. This error will also display if the cuff is worn and needs to be replaced. The EE symbol with a down arrow indicates the cuff is over-inflated. In most instances the cuff has been wrapped too tight or you are using the incorrect cuff size. Turn the monitor off. Read the instructions to correctly apply the cuff. Wait five to ten minutes then take another measurement. This should correct the issue.

WITH AUTOMATIC CUFF BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR GETTING ERROR

E might represents insufficient inflation for your mom. For automatic inflation monitors usually there is a mechanism to keep inflating the cuff to higher pressures for people with higher BP. Check how is done. In some auto monitors, while cuff is inflated you keep pressing on START button until pressure reaches to some 15 to 20 mmHg higher than the pressure that auto usually stops and displays E.
