I have a ladies Rotary watch and would like to know what it's worth.

The serial number and the name don't bring any information. Check eBay and filter by 'Sold'. That will give an indication of prices realized.

How do i find what kind of watch i have by its serial number

Check out the brand/manufacturer name and the serial number. Google out the contact number for the customer service for that brand/manufacturer and once you speak to them, provide them the serial number, they will answer your query to your expectation.

Checking serial number

Luke, the serial number is located between the lugs at the 6 marker.
You need to remove the wristband at that point to see it. The model number is located at the 12 marker.

I am trying to find out info about an antique wristwatch i have a serial # can i find info with it?

not likely, the number you want to use is the case number. On the back of the watch maybe or on the inside of the caseback. Some watches may have a useable number under the 6 that will identify the model. If all those fail try the caliber number of the watch located on the movement.

I have purchased a vintage wrist watch, makers name is delvina of geneve. The serial number is 3039. Would like to know how old it is?

mcdevito75 here, any Geneve watch is very good, from the little I know and without seeing the watch, note the hands carefully, if they are thick the watch could be from the 60"s or before. If the hands are thin then the age of the watch could be from the 70"s, the Geneve name though is very good, they also have Geneva name but Geneve is the name to look for. Also a jeweler can give an approx. age.------- Thick hands, 60"s or before, ------- thin hands, 70"s and after.

I have a vintage Rolex with the serial # 2534788.Would like info on this watch. The face is black with the second hand located where the 6 should be. The name Rolex is written in white under the # 12.The...

This is a tough question. Rolex has always been very secretive of manufacturing information so there is no definitive list of "born on dates" The serial number 2534788 is most likely from 1969 or 1970. The problem is that I know of no Rolex from that time period that has the small seconds hand. The off-set seconds hand was a feature of pre WW2 watches. The case number on the inside of the case back would help in identifying the movement and being able to provide more information
