Why can't I have my emails and Facebook Separate like I used to have them?

Your Facebook account may or may not have the same password as your email account. It depends on the password YOU selected when you created the account.

To reset your Facebook password, click the "Forgot your password?" link on the Facebook sign-in page.

First, you need to have a working email address. If you don't have one, signup for an account at https://mail.yahoo.com

Just click create new account. Then follow the instructions on the page.

Jot down your email & password when are successfully done.

Or else, skip the instructions above if you already have an email address.


Now, go to www.facebook.com

Fill up the fields:



Note: it is recommended that your facebook password is different from your email password you created earlier.

When you are successfully done with facebook, login back to your email at https://mail.yahoo.com

Use the first password you successfully created earlier.

Check your inbox, open your email from facebook, then click the link that says verify your account.

login to FB and go to http://facebook.com/settings then click on "General " change the "contact email" and "ad account contact email" too change it to his.......Goodluck!

There may be a typo in your email address so the confirmation is going to nowhere. Create an email account on yahoo / hotmail / googlemail and start again using the new one. It's worth having a separate email address for facebook as it can generate lots of notifications!

........the easiest way to deal with your problem is to set up a new account with a new email address........the second solution would be to go into edit on you profile and enter a new email address.......good luck

No, you can only have one facebook account for one email address.

When you try to create another fb account with the same email address, it will give you this message:
"There is an existing account associated with (your email address)."

If you would like to have another fb account you will need to use a different email address.

Go to an email client and start a new email. You can then open a new facebook account with that email and have pretty much the same things on that one as you do on your primary account.
