under hood, (old post)
in the TIPM box. all fuses in 1 spot now. (and relays)
some have no fuse. and use electronics driver, (fuel pump is one)
i look in the box. the word horn does not exist. like my JK 08 has.
that means its fully electronic, as they keep doing (a good thing)
no fuse , no relay
the TIPM has a horn drivers.
the events (did you scan it first ) back in 2014?
operator hits horn
BCM brain sees you do that.
BCM sends, digital command (networked) to TIPM the brain in the TIPM
turns on its horn driver transistor sending 12vdc to the horn
got 12v to horn honking key on? if yes, the horn is bad, or its base ground is rusty, as all do in the salt belt (wiki that)
my online sources skips horn on just this jeep only,.,,,,
but i do have the MK car, FSM on CD.
and have the full schematics, of this car in SVG format.
here is that page converted. for you and BINGO, look ma, no fuse.
100% electronics, now, up to the horn, no fuses.
just like the fuel pump and others.... (no relay no fuse)
so got 12vdc to horn? honking key on? both horns dead.
