There should be an option in case you forgot your password, or just contact the service your email is with, tell them the situation, and hope for the best.

It could be your using your email password instead of your Apple password. They could be different. If you have a computer, go to iCloud.com on the internet and try to sign in the email address and password you use for your Apple ID. If it doesn't work, your password or Apple I'd is incorrect. You might try and select forgot password on the iCloud screen and correct it.
If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the device. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

Sign into what?? your email account??
Check caps lock is not on and try again.
Forgot your password? click on the forgot password link to try and reset the password, if you are not able to do this, you may be able to use a different email account (Hotmail/livemail/googlemail/yahoo and many more) and contact the support people. If they cant help you, you will have to get a new email account
