These power chairs normally have some form of error reporting, either numbers, or a flash code on the moving bar. Check your connections to the controller.

I am thinking you mean a Mobility scooter rather then a Ford Edge 2 litre? Full 'make model (what it is)' in all questions please. We also have a Quantum category.

Have the batteries load tested. An Interstate Battery shop will do the test for free in 2 minutes.
