battery has a low charge or the starting gear on the starter is bad. just remove cover and see if the starter ingages and cranks the fly wheel. look at the gear itself to make sure the teeth are good ,if not replace the plastic gear. takes 5 min.

no. it's a maintenance-less, brushless motor. you can blow the dust out of it with canned air, but most likely the bearings are shot and you'll need to replace it. you could get the part from an infocus service center and do it yourself, or send it to them for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

If it is the engine that is locked up, it is better to look for a replacement engine instead of trying to rebuild that one.

May have a fuel filter or fuel line clogged. Check to see if it has a fuel pump, The diaphragm in the fuel pump may not be pump fuel any more.

Unfortunately murray.com does not have any documents available on their website for that model, but the way the wheel is held on is very simple.

The wheel has bearing in it that slide over the axle shaft, then a washer goes on the shaft and the assembly is held on with a cotter pin that goes through a small hole near the end of the shaft.

If you need information about the engine, Look up the information from the engine manufacturer. Be sure to insert grease into all of the grease (zerk) fittings on the various moving parts on the tractor, keep the oil clean (SAE30) and drain all fuel before winter storage or else use STA-BIL. Also, since lead-acid batteries lose 1% of their charge per day, keep a smart trickle charger on it during storage.
