If your contacts from the previous phone is not save to your sim card,, there's no way you can retrieve unless if you still have the old phone that has those contacts......

Good luck.........

Call your phone company. It's a software issue, they need to replace your phone or exchange it for a different one. I've had the same problem. Best of luck, sorry your having trouble!

SOURCE: HOW CAN I ACCESS MY

Hello,

This a nearly and impossible task, but let's give it a shot......

Install Motorola PC suite on your computer. Connect the USB cord of your phone from the phone to the PC. The PC will install the phone. Open the PC suite and the contact should be seen through the PC suite on your computer. Or it can be synchronized.

If you don't have a Motorola PC suite, download it from this link; http://www.software112.com/products/motorola-pc-suite.html

But if above solution doesn't work, it means you will have to replace the screen of your phone once and for all, so that you can access your contacts and other important data on your phone.

I hope the above makes sense to you.

Good luck.

I need to restore my contacts on my old Motorola cell phone first. can It be done at all. Phone discharged while I was in hospital and forgot to turn off.

@j.Congo

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Your contacts are not deleted if the battery goes dead. Only if you intentionally delete them or you factory reset your phone will they be deleted and be unrecoverable. If you power the phone down or it powers off because all the charge has been depleted, it's all the same.

Nokia E90 freezing on blue nokia white background

It seems your phone has corrupted its operating system. But no worry, just flash program it with latest Nokia E90 flash file. You can download it to your PC and using Phoenix tool or ATF/ HWK UFSX as flash platforms. Or simply let an expert near you do it for you. It's simple but needs experience to avoid damage to your unit.
