WIFE`S CELL PHONE # IS BLOCKED, BUT IS NOT IN BLOCKED #S

Have her dial *82 before she dials the home number. If that works she has the cell phone set to block her number. *82 should unblock it for just that one call.

How to block a Cellphone number?

For privacy reasons, you may want to avoid people knowing what number you are calling from when placing a call from your cell phone. If you want to block your cell phone number from showing up on caller ID when you call someone, the process is very simple. You can block the number through your cellular phone carrier or temporarily on the phone itself..

HERE IS THE INSTRUCTIONS :

1 .Call your cell phone carrier. Dial 611 from your cell phone to reach customer service and tell your provider that you would like to request line block. The representative from your carrier may ask you a few questions, but the process is quick and painless.

2. Dial *82 if you need to unblock your number. Once you have put line block on your phone, you can temporarily take it off by dialing *82 before dialing out.

3..Block a specific call. If you do not want to put line block on your cell phone permanently, you can block your number temporarily on a call-by-call basis.

4..Dial *67 before dialing out to just block that particular call. After entering *67, proceed to dial the rest of the number as usual.

I have activated the caller id block for my outgoing calls. How do I reverse this process so that my number shows up to the people that I call?

The procedure depends on your phone company, not on your phone. With some phone companies, for example, dialing *82 before dialing the phone number will deactivate caller ID blocking for this call.
Please contact your phone company for full instructions.

How to Remove Call Block from Uniden phone

#82 to remove the block from AT&T phone lines. This has to be done before every call if your account is set to block caller ID. Refer to the front section of the white pages if your service is not from AT&T. Beware, some phone companies charge as much as .50 each time you remove the block.

Number Not Provided

Usually not unless you programmed all of your speed dials with a *67 first. Usually this is set up by you the end user, with the telephone company, having a private/restricted number, or by adding call blocking to your line. If you dial *82 then the phone number of somebody that you have this problem with, the call should go thru. You can have this feature removed by the phone company, however no matter who you call, stores, resturants etc... will have your number for telemarketing purposes.
Hope this helps.

Cannot phone Canada

I had the same problem.

The way around this is to dial the number with one of the following codes in front of it:

*67 or *82

Dialing *67+1+(Canadian Phone Number) <SEND> will make the call to Canada, however, your number will not display on the caller's Caller ID display.

Dialing *82+1+(Canadian Phone Number) <SEND> will make the call to Canada, AND your number WILL show up on the caller's Caller ID Display.

I tried it with my Motorola W375 and it works like a charm as of February 13th, 2009.
