SOURCE: Toyostove Laser 30 has error code EE 22

EE-22 means that the unit has tried three times to ignite. after this it goes into a "lockout" condition. remove the power and the computer will reset itself. it will then try to re-ignite. check for a fuel blockage, dirty filter etc. if there's water in your kerosene it will not fire! kerosene floats on top of water. bleed your system until you get kero and no water. use a gas additive to remove water. dry-gas will work. just empty the bottle's contents into your tank. on your computer type in toyostove error codes. this will take you to toyo's site and explains the error codes.

SOURCE: Toyostove laser 73 heater with a EE 2 error

replace the flame rod. or it could be the computer board for the flame rod. flame rod detects the presence of a flame.

SOURCE: I am trying to replace

See my tip on headphones jack/cable problems. Also sometimes they put on a special coating on the wires. You have to scrape the wire or file it to remove it. Spit is also good at making the solder stick!

Toyostove Laser 73 heater will not run, and the low/med/hi lights flash on and off?

Remove front grille by taking out two screws at lower right and left front sides of stove. slightly pull botom front of grille toward you and lift up and off. Look for two red wires going into burner chamber, the wires will be incased in a gray plastic sheath as they enter chamber. Push on buton like you are trying to start the heater. While it is going through start up process hold the gray plastic sheath with two fingers and see if the sheath does not get warm in a short period of time the igniter is bad and will need to be replaced. This can be cause by water getting into the burner chamber and causing the igniter to crack.

Yoyostove laser 73 ee-2 keeps coming up which i know is missed ignition, but after a few times of missing ignition the k-1 leaks from the bottom of the heater what needs to be done about this problem?

Sounds like your igniter may have burned out. You can test the igniter with an ohmmeter. You can also check for voltage on the circuit board where the igniter connects. Don't try to start it again until you check the igniter because unburnt kerosene will just keep building up in the burner. Let me know if you need more help.

Laser 73 fire will start but the circulation fan will not start. will eventually overheat and then shut down with EE 2 error. Whats up?

Because you have the EE2 error I would say there is nothing wrong with the circ fan. Your are either having a problem with fuel flow or the igniter. Feel around the two red wires when you try to start the heater. If they get hot you have a fuel problem. If you also hear a thumbing noise you have a fuel problem.

Need to reset temperature control on my toyostove laser 73

I'm not sure if I'm answering the question right, but the reset light should reset when the heater cools down. If not you may have a problem a circuit board or a bad temperature sensor or loose wire. You should find out why the heater overheated. It could be a dirty fan or fan cage or something else blocking the air flow.

Lost manual stove is blinking code ee2

No ignition. Check the igniter by feeling around the two red wires when you try to start the stove. They will get very hot so be careful. If the igniter gets hot you have a fuel problem. No fuel, low fuel or dirty filter.

Keep us posted,

Starts go go but dont throw heat

You can check the igniter by touching the cover over the igniter. It should be warm not long after you start the heater. If you have a clamp on type ammeter you can clamp around just one of the igniter wires and you should see somewhere in the range of 2 - 4 amps. No current means your igniter or the ciruit board isn't working. You can check the 2 pins where the igniter connects with a volt meter and should get 120VAC when the heater is trying to light.
IF THERE IS A LOT OF UNBURNED KEROSENE IN YOUR BURNER YOU SHOULD TRY TO DRY IT UP WITH PAPERTOWELS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Toyostove laser 55

sequence of operation is just like the monitor. combustion blower comes on to purge chamber of fumes. after the delay, the solenoid pump comes on and deposits fuel to the burner mat, within 20 sec the igniter comes on, incandesces and ignites the fuel if there is no flame, the flame rod is supposed to shut down heater and go into a lockout condition until shut off or unplugged to reset. check solenoid pump first. you already know the igniter works. check the fuel filter in the fuel sump might be clogged. check the fuel sump float valve, might be stuck, supposed to hang free in the sump with needle valve open. thermostat is digital just starts and shuts down the burner and solenoid pump.
