I just bougth a franke ecolino but I don't have a card to setup the machine. Is it possible to by pass that card

Have you descaled the coffee maker? A water path clogged with calcium buildup will not allow the water to pass through quickly enough and cause s starvation flow.

Work with the previous owner and find out where it was sent and any records of it being sent. If monies were paid have the credit card owner contact the credit card coompany and contest the purchase. If you want a new mother board you would need to post the make and model of the machine.

the right hand panel needs to be removed. once removed you will have access to the brew unit. half way up the brew unit you can see the switch that is needed to be replaced. the switch is secured by a couple of screws. and attached by 2 control wires. from there it is a simple replacement of the switch. if you require further info. feel free to email me.. bob

try ebay. password for card once entered is 1000 or 0001. install cards are only given to franke trained engineers.

It sounds like a safety valve releasing. You probably have a clog somewhere. I tried to find a service manual on line for the ecolino machine, but no luck, only the Saphira is available!

you most likely need a new pressure stat/switch as it is what tells the elements to turn off and quit heating.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies and Driver downloads (if applicable) as required.
