SOURCE: Eureka Hotshot Enviro steamer

Remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the steamer, that holds the center panel on. (Not the screws that hold the whole bottom.) Use a needle the clear the steam holes. Soak the panel in white vinegar for a couple of hours and scrub with aa brush to remove the lime calcium deposits. Check the center hole that goes into the steam and make sure it is clear. Reattach the panel. If the panel does not fit snuggly (either end does not contact the base panel, add two more screws about an inch in from either side. I used stainless steal screws because of the consist moisture. Used screws that are no more than 3/4 on an inch long and about the same diameter as the two you removed.

SOURCE: How much water should I put in Eureka model 300 steamer

Use 12 ounces of water.
It's best not to use extremely hard water in the Eureka steamer due to mineral deposits it may leave behind.
If you need cloths for your Eureka 300 or 310/311/313A see my listings on eBay by searching "eureka steamer."
This is a great floor cleaning machine. I have several for use on large areas of linoleum and sealed hardwood in our home.

SOURCE: My Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer doesn't steam, I

You will need to pour two measures of water using the measuring cup or 12 oz of water. The reason why water comes out of the bottom is because the floor cloth is too wet or you had too much water in the tank

Knob

The safety cap (knob) turns counter clockwise to open so you can put water in. Turn clockwise to close after filling.
