SOURCE: I've owned it for about a year and have not had any trouble. But my Danby Kegerator just started beeping and flashing EE on the display one day and it won't cool. I had to unplug it. Any ideas

An EE error code means that you have loose connections (loose temperature sensor connections) check all the wires for a loose connection
temperature touch pad
the units main control board
the control board is in the back of the unit there is a panel covering in the middle lower back near the compressorInside your unit on the left side in the lower rear theres a vented piece of plastic pry that off thats the temperature sensor make sure all the connections are tight
If the error does not clear then your temperature sensor is faulty
you can get a new sensor at
www.repaiclinic.com.or
or at
www.appliancepartspros.com
hope this helped
Good Luck!

SOURCE: door ajar alarm ringing and refridgerator not cooling enough

This could be a defective thermistor telling the fridge that the evaporator fan is frozen up with ice. But if you are lucky like me it is a defective door switch, telling the fridge that the door is open when in fact it is closed. The fan sending cold air from the freezer section to the refrigerator section turns off when the door is open, so a defective door switch can keep that fan turned off all the time. Push the buttons on the door switch to see if the lights go off in the freezer and refrigerator. If not, use a knife or screwdriver to pry out the switch and unplug it. Then you should hear the fan turn on, and the refrigerator start cooling. Good luck! genetuck PS....my light was not coming on at all, and I had to unplug the refrigerator for five minutes, then plug it in to get the light to work. I just discovered the switch was defective, and don't know yet if there will be any future problems with the light.

Have you checked the water container in the unit? It has a float switch that when it is full it will not allow the unit to run so that it will avoid spilling water on to the floor. Hope this helps 2rns4u <*{{{>(

My microwave buttons dont work on my danby microwave, after a few hours it started beeping and asking for a code. what is the code

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

If it still isn't working I would contact Danby Customer Service US / Canada.

Danby DWC283BLS Wine Cooler - Error message E3 & E4

Is the compressor running? I don't know this unit, but know that if you are too warm that is the first thing to check. In reading about another unit that had a different problem, it was mentioned that there is a ciruit board. If it has relays on it then these are the most likely culprit. They are either not making contact or staying in contact too long... sometimes just tapping each relay usually a black plastic component will cause it to work intermittently..Not sure if you can get these but call the company help line at 1-800-263-2629.
