SOURCE: Brushes not spinning....

My status light came on, the vac beeped twice and stopped. I noticed my brushes weren't spinning. I took an eyeglass screwdriver and took off the center screw that holds on the brushes. I cleaned the shaft that the brushes spin on. replaced brushes and it works great! I just did this now and it is still running. my status light problem is fixed my roomba is 4 years old and I am on my 2nd battery. Seems to have fixed the problem. FYI it was wrapped with hair, dirt and it was greasy.

SOURCE: problems with roomba 530

before taking apart your Roomba read this!!! First to see if it is a defect or really the brushes, take the brusehs out and run roomba with out them. If you still hear the clicking/ thumping then try taking it apart or call roomba. But if the clicking/ thumping goes away when the brushes are out you're in luck! Take the brushes. The brushes have little yellow nubs... those come out. pull them out, and you will see a lot of hair waiting for you. clean all of the hair out ( tweezers are wonderful for this). Once they are cleaned out put the yellow nubs back on. Put your brushes back in and you're Roomba will be back to business in no time!!!

SOURCE: My fully charged Roomba 560 just moves a few

You have dead nimh (nickle metal hydride) batteries
You will need a replacement. You can test for this by removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. This will restart the charging cycle as if the battery were new.

Yes, this is known issue and if your bumper moves freely, you might be facing a sensor fault caused by poor quality of components.
Here is a guide to fix it

Need repair manual roomba 770

Hello, George -

I can only find a user's manual for a Roomba 770:
http://www.irobot.com/For-the-Home/Support/Product-Resources/Roomba-700-Resources/Manuals-and-Resources.aspx

I suggest you contact iRobot (maker of Roomba) directly and ask about the availability of a repair manual. On the web page with the link above, you will find the Contact Us links for the company in the right side bar.

You may have to pay for a repair manual.

Best wishes.

Red triangle and roomba stopped

If you get a red triangle with the two tone beep, and no voice prompt, roomba 770 runs for a few minutes or just immediately goes to red triangle...if you have thoroughly cleaned moving parts and find no obstructions, you may have the problem I had that stumped me for a week. Remove the trash bin, with roomba upside down, and there are 4 silver contacts that connect to two metal tabs on the trash bin. Over time the contacts lose some of their contact pressure. Use needle nose pliers to slightly rebend them so they make good contact to the trash bin contacts. These contacts feed the vacuum motor inside the trash bin. That fixed mine.

Roomba wheel -- stuck

I had a similar problem, I just took my Roomba Red apart and put it back together about four times before I fixed it.  In my case it turned out to be a dirty sensor, fixed as described at
http://mysteryroad.blogs.com/photos/roomba_gallery/xintroroomba_3549.html

Before you open it up I recommend following the diagnostic tests to see if its a physical problem (bad motor belt, hair stuck around the wheel) or a sensor problem (dirt makes Roomba think it is stuck when it isn't).  If you follow the diagnostics one of them will move the Roomba wheels while ignoring the sensors; if the wheels move fine then you probably have a sensor problem.

Repairing stuck wheel/Roomba Discovery

just learning, but sounds like the one that doesn't spin freely is the good one.

The other may have a broken belt.
