There are broken lightbulb removal tools but the ones I found are pretty much for regular ceiling lightbulbs and probably wouldn't work on a small sewing machine bulb. There's a tool shown here but I don't know where you would find it.

Perhaps this would be helpful:
Pfixing the Pfaff (further down the page, it shows how to remove the side cover--after removing the top cover first!)

Be sure to unplug your machine first!!!

You might try using a very long needlenose plier. Stick the needlenose up inside the bulb, then open the pliers until the outside of the nose is tight against the bulb socket and try twisting. If it doesn't grip enough, you might try putting something like a rubber finger over the nose tip. (If there is no broken glass left, you may even be able to put a rubber finger on a fat pencil or even your finger up there and twist.)

Something else that may work is using a fat school eraser, trimming it down to fit in the broken socket.

I would even consider putting super glue on a fat pencil eraser end, sticking it up there and letting it adhere, then giving it a twist.

Good luck!

My Pfaff 7570 will not run. Thought it was the foot pedal. Tried a new one which also didn't work. Changed the AA batteries.Display lights, but will not sew. Husband thinks it is some kind of...

Could be motor brushes or a bad base plate board circuit board. That is a great machine but may be hard to find someone to fix this problem. Take to only to a pfaff repair shop. Motor brushes should be around $50-100 repair and base plate could be up to $500. I would also check it with a nother foot control just to be safe.
If your husband wants to do the job here are some tips.
The motor is right behind the display board, you will need to remove the diplay and motor to get to the brushes.
For the base plate board, Remove the 4 large flatblade screws to get the base plate off.
Right next to the trasnformer there 3 small fuses, (they are back and say fuse on them) if one is very carroded and white there is a good chance that is bad and replacing it will fix the probem.
Lots of work for bolth if the repairs and I recomend you take your machine in.

My wife has a Pfaff creative 7570. If you open flip top under the handle there are two phillips head screws After you take those two screws out how do you remove the section?

That panel can be tricky. First remove the top panel that has the stich numbers on it. After that is off remove the 2 screws, then you will need to lift the right side off and wigle the bobbin winder back and forth. After you get the right side lose it should slide out to the right.
What are you opening it for?

Need to locate a lamp changer for the Pfaff 7570

You my be able to change the light bulb without one. On some versions of the Pfaff 7570, you can remove the left end of the machine to access the bulb socket: remove the top cover that has all the designs pictured on it. Lift the carrying handle. Immediately behind the handle is a hole about 3mm in diameter. Down in that hole, probably too far down to see, there is a phillips head screw. Drop a Phillips head screwdriver into the hole, set it into the screw head and unscrew that screw. This will loosen the left end cap. Pull toward the left to remove this piece and you can access the bulb and socket.

How to replace light bulb at Pfaff Creative 2124?

On these machines you cannot open the left side to remove the bulb. Your machine accessory kit should have come with a rubber tool that is ribbed with a cup-shaped opening on either end. This is a tool for removing the bulb. Tilt the machine with the base facing up so you can see where the bulb is and use this tool to twist the bulb gently. It sould come out with no problem! Hope this helps!

I have a Pfaff 7570 and I would like to adjust the thread tension. Most of the time when embroidering it is set at 1 or 0...and never higher than 3-4. Also I can't get the light bulb end out. it broke...

Lift top cover. remove top cover (flat springs on each end of cover - move one with your finger and top will come off. Lift handle. Look to right of handle end over the head. There is a screw there. LOOSEN screw and front cover will slide away from head. Bunch up a paper towel or napkin and press into broken bulb socket and turn same counter clockwise to get bulb socket out. Good Luck!
