SOURCE: No suction or spray - Eureka Atlantis Steam Cleaner

I got the machine working. I think because it hadn't been used for awhile that the seals were dried out. I wet them and let it sit for awhile and then I could push the containers all the way in and seated them properly. Then it started working no problem and I got to clean my carpets.

SOURCE: eureka capture model 8803 type AVV...runs for 10

This could be a few issues. First it could be the thremel swith located inside, or it could be the carbon brushes also located inside. If you are a do it yourselfer you can purchess the carbon brushes from any vacuum repair shop. The thermal switch should be tested before replacing "thus- you shoud have a local repair shop look at" I would find one that offers free estimates so they can diog. the problem. then buy the part and start the fun part. Saving big $$$$$$

The mop just stopes making steam to the head. Could this be A heat coil problem? Also a lot of others have had This happen.

On these steam mops, you have to use distilled water, if you use tap water and do not have a house water softner or some kind of water filtration system, the water running thru the tubes of the steam mop
will develop calcium deposits, these deposits are caused by hard water and will clog up the tubes, and keep the mop from producing steam, then you will have to replace the lines. i own this brand of steam
mop and had the same problem you had, I replaced the lines and started using distilled water, and have not had any problems since and that was last year. good luck!

Hi -- For my White Wing Steam Cleaner: After I plug in the unit, and wait over 10 minutes, the Pressure gauge shows that the pressure at 2 (maybe 2.5, I can't recall as I'm typing today) -- not...

Re: Low pressure on WhiteWing steam cleaner
1. Make sure the safety switch for the hose handle on the right side of the hose handle is turned to the closed position. To do that, push it away form the hose.
2. Make sure the steam release button (next to the on/off button on the control panel on the steamer) is in the Off position.
3. Make sure the safety cap is tightened.
4. Make sure you have enough water in the tank (at least half a bottle of water)
I hope this helps.

My Eureka handheld Hot Shot, will heat up, but won't spray. I have put 1 c distilled white vinegar and 1 c water in and let it heat up. I have repeated this twice, but no luck. I have only used this...

unfornitually the metal that makes up the steam vessel oxidies when water is left in it, when it has not ben drained, which causes a white powder around the valve which is almost impossible to remove, almost. yes white vinager can remove it and will also cause more oxidizatinn if not rinced very throuley the valve has a thermoplastic part covering it if you deside to remove it it will usually break off making the unit unusable. The carosion around the valve is the problem that causes the valve to stick. if not very carfull you can cause this thing to blow the plug out of the top steam is very dangerous. dan

Eureka HotShot 350A heats up great but no steam when I press button.

Remove water fill cap. Remove rubber washer under cap. Unscrew three phillips head sscrews, one on end of handle, two under rubber washer. Take handle apart. remove clip holding rubber hose onto steam flange. Unloosen plastic steam flange and remove. Using a large pair of pliers or channel locks gently squeeze valve together. It will only move an eighth to a quarter inch. Dove several times until you can depress the pin by hand. Reassemble.

My Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer doesn't steam, I had no directions with it so I'm not sure how much water to put in it. It comes out the bottom before it heats up sometimes. It never seems to get hot...

You will need to pour two measures of water using the measuring cup or 12 oz of water. The reason why water comes out of the bottom is because the floor cloth is too wet or you had too much water in the tank

How much water should I put in Eureka model 300 steamer

Use 12 ounces of water.
It's best not to use extremely hard water in the Eureka steamer due to mineral deposits it may leave behind.
If you need cloths for your Eureka 300 or 310/311/313A see my listings on eBay by searching "eureka steamer."
This is a great floor cleaning machine. I have several for use on large areas of linoleum and sealed hardwood in our home.

I changed the belt on a Eureka Whirlwind superlite, all was well but I can't seem to find where this white piece of plastic approx.2" and less than 1/2" wide and there is a copper like V shaped clip, I was hoping maybe you had a diagram or something showing where these go.
Much Appreciated

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
I would suggest contacting your local vac dealer in your area to she id they have a schematic of the Eureka Whirlwind Superlite vacuum, and include the model number so that it would be easier to find the vacuum you are speaking of or you also can check on line, some factory manufacturer have some type of schematics that you can download using the name and model # of the vacuum, but this is not a guarantee, So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
