If you need to erase all of your child's saved drawings, etc. the Storio can only be reset by reinstalling the software. You'll need an SD card with at least 64mo of memory. The Recovery program will erase anything that was on the SD card, so transfer anything you want to keep tp your computer. Download and run the Recover SD card creator program from one of the links below:
hi, i suggest you want to erase some info from your tomtom.
two ways.
first is factory reset, is in the menu, when you do this al personal info will be erased.
second way is using tomtomhome, to erase languages, tones, bleeps etc, to create free space.
good luck.
Go to the 'Main Menu' page and bring down the menu. Click on 'Owner Information' to bring up the owner information page. Tab to the bottom and uncheck the box that says 'Show At Power-up'. Personally, I would want the info to display at power-up so that honest people would see it. You can speed up the display sequence by pressing the page key after each screen loads up.
1. If you use the system recovery and go into advanced, it will erase all personal data and all programs installed, putting it back to the way it was when you first purchased the computer. 2. To get to the system recovery on an hp, you press the key that is indicated during bootup, either F10 for older ones or F11 on the newer ones. It will boot into the recovery mode from where you select the advanced option. It will give you a warning that all your personal information will be gone.
