Topcon GPT 3205NW. Instrument won't stay on RS232c cable setting. Change setting in Topcon from F1: Bluetooth to F2: RS-232c (cable) and push ENTER it flips back to F1: Bluetooth. Any ideas ?

You will need to reset your CMOS. You can do this by either removing the battery from the board for about 20 minutes than replacing it. It will automatically throw you in to your F2 or F12 setup. Or look for a jumper near the CMOS. Sometimes depending on PC Brand, just holding down a keyboard button continously during boot up will give you a keyboard error and take you to Setup. If one of the above doesn't work, hit me back on this forum and I will provide more help.

IBM computers use the F1 key. It is critical that the keystroke is captured at the right moment in the boot sequence. Otherwise it is ignored. Start tapping the key repeatedly as soon as you turn the system on. Shortly after the memory check and mouse initialization is complete, you should get a BIOS setup menu. If you're still having problems, you might try a different keyboard since it is always possible to have a defect there.

Hi, you will need to perform a windows restore using your windows CD. Insert CD in drive and select the appropriate option. You will not loose any of your work doing this.
