Cannot install driver on MAC osX version 10.5. Have a HP psc 950. What should I do.

There is only one Mac Driver for this printer, i.e. Mac OSx 10.0 and newer version. I don't think it'll be possible to install the printer on Mac OSx 6.5, if you want to try with the newer versions' driver, you can download it from here (click here). If this isn't compatible, you can't install it on the System with Mac OSx 6.5.

first remove the printers folder,then the drivers manually one by one from the receipts folder,then remove the hp software. Deselect the hp in the printer preferences and then install the hp software again. And then it should work. Check in the printer preferences for your printer, If the hp fax is in there. Remove it and select the printer and thats it.

1.printers folder is located on the hard drive-library-printers
2.reiceipts folder is located same-library-reiceipts
3.Download the software from hp website.

iplease go to radarsync.com and install it this is a totally free utility that will help you find and install your driver for free

Their is no driver for the Ox 10.anything .OS X and OX  9  are the only two available or since this is a rather old model ever likely to be. It is not cost effective for them to pay to write a new OS driver for an old product.It is extremely unlikely anyone else will ever write one for someone elses product either.  Sorry.

I've not used this machine, but it should be a simple procedure by following the installation procedure for MAC OSx....drivers are here:

I just installed the software and am now scanning problem-free.

Check the MAC driver setting and look for the in intensity control.
