Who would be the dealership for a saturn 2000 ls ,i bought it used and radio needs code

You need the code, that was given to you with instructions on how to use it when the car was delivered new. If you do not have that see any GM dealer for assistance.

On some cars there is a lockout feature on stock radio to prevent theft.If the battery went dead or was disconnected for a period of time the radio locks.Most cars you have to call dealership to get unlock code.Or contact manufacture of radio to obtain code.

Contact the dealership and talk with the service department, explain the situation, they should be able to get you fixed up, also have your VIN handy.

if u have ur code to reset the radio use it if not notify dealer for radio code to reset when battery goes dead radio thinks its being stolen and goes into anti theft mode

you need to go to the dealer they need to let it come out of lock mode and then they need to get the code out the radio and they need to get the unlock code and enter it and then it will work,,,,only a dealer can get the unlock code,,,,,or buy a new radio,but that will cost more than the $100 the dealer wants and will take longer and be a pain in the as,,,,,,

dealerships are usually very helpful with pulling the codes and unlocking it. Catch them on a good day and they may do if for free. if not they usually charged about $60..

Dealer might be able to give you code over the phone , but will probly need the VIN # of your car.
Quite often the code can be found hand writen somewhere in the owners manual.

sorry to say but the only way to get the code is to pull the radio and take it into the dealer, you could try and call them and give the serial number off the back of it and they might be able to get the code for it

If you bought the car new then you should have a "credit card" size paper with the code on it, they don't put them in owners manuals so, don't look there, if you can't find it or you purchased this car second hand, the you will have to go to the local dealership and show proof that you own the car and they will get the code for you from their head quarters.
