While at the front of the mower look under the mower between the two lift cylinders. You will see a sight tube which maybe hard to see the level depending on if it is using the Hy Gard Fluid or Type F, etc. The level in the tube should be approximately in the middle when the mower is sitting level. If you are using Hy Gard and have a hard time seeing the level add the some hydrostat oil dye to it. I use John Deere MT3668 dye.
