To offer some context, I was trying to salvage my frayed flex ribbon cable that connects the charging port to the main motherboard by cutting the frayed end and scraping away the plastic to create a "new" end. This failed and after a few attempts I tried to put the cable back in and it sparked, resulting in a nominal burn on the cable. Now with a new flex ribbon cable I've inserted it into the relevant ports and the controller doesn't charge or turn on (it did before, my previous issue was just replacing my L2 but I pulled the cable out and it became frayed). Have I destroyed the controller or have short circuited it or something? Any help is greatly appreciated and will result in positive feedback (I'll probably offer you my kidney if someone manages to fix this).
