Trying to disassemble. I'm nearly finished, but no screws left to unscrew to get the rod to come out. Any suggestions?

Don't know if the rod is threaded or not but if it is there is usually a set screw that needs to be loosen then maybe a clevis pin to pull out, then you twist it off. Otherwise there is usually 1 or 2 set screws and a cotter pin to remove.

LVM-37w1 after 5 minutes of viewing, picture and sound go off. Blue power light turns orange. attempts to turn on TV are unsuccessful. Blue light immediately turns orange.

I saw this fix posted on another blog by a fellow named Patrick. I tried it today and it it worked. It fixed my Westinghouse lvm-37w1. Basically disassemble the back of the TV (removing all the screws on the edges and middle). Remove screws holding bottom speaker and stand. There are 2 chrome rods extending down. There are small screws inside holding them on. You can turn the rods and unscrew the screws but need a small screw driver to put them back on. Remove the black cover on the back. remove the plates on the lower middle section. You will expose a printed circuit card. unplug wires and unscrew 4 screws holding it in. Remove it, turn it upside down and inspect the solder joints near the lower middle (especially under the gray relay on the other side). I found 4 solder joints that were cracked. Resolder the larger solder joints that are cracked or look bad (small solder joints are too delicate). Put it back to gether and it should work now. Mine works great. No more black screen with no sound.12_2_2011_5_11_21_am.jpg

Dual shock 3 controller left stick on two controllers have chipped at the left side and stick a lot.

Turn over the controller, open all the screws and gently remove the back. There you would see a black screw near the heart drive. There could be two solutions after this step. If the screw is loose, tighten it but not too much. Otherwise unscrew it and just simply press on the area. After you are finished screw everything back with a 1.4mm screwdriver

Replacing felt around drum - model dpsr610eg0wt

On the DPSR610EGWT if you open the dryer door and look at the top of that opening There are two small phillips screws that hold down the top of the dryer. Unscrew those, lift the top and then slide it to the left to remove the top. Next, near the top of the seams between the front and side panels is a screw. Unscrew the small screw and the front will lift off. Be careful because the drum is supported by the front and there are also wires connected on the left. Hope this helps!

Need to take lcd out of Samsung SGH-J700 to dry and clean contact

The glue needed to keep support of the screws, is minor and NOT as near strong as you think.

Whether the screws are your basic, small philips or tri-three, etc. It's important to identify that first.

When you have handy the screw-driver needed for to disassemble, just unscrew it. The glue and or material will not withhold you from disassembling the device. Be careful.

Thanks.

I need to replace the inner tie rods on my 97' conti......need a diagram of how to and any other info pertinent to the job - Bair

If this is a rack and pinion type steering, in order to remove the inner tie rods you will first have loosen the jam nut at the outer tie rod end, next unbolt the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle, unscrew the outer tie rod end off (be sure to count how many turns to remove), next remove the inner bellows boot (black boot) from the tie rod / rack and pinion, next is to unscrew the inner tie rod from the rack assembly (the do make a tool for this to make it easier) but if you do not have the tool, you can sometimes use a big pair of channel locks or a big enough wrench to fit on the fitting on the inside of the inner tie rod, and just unscrew the inner tie rod (normal left=loosen, right=tighten). Hope this helps. Would also recommend having it aligned after you are finished.
