I was a Samsung Tech for over 3 years, I would take it apart and look for loose connections to the panel. If that does not work, you will have to start out with smaller parts. In my opinion its the main board. Whats the model number?

If audio is OK, the backlight inverter is the part should suspected. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.
STOP Get a SERVICE MANUAL and follow instructions before you make it any worse by "Mucking around with it" it needs to be serviced in a set careful methodical way u cant just replace boards and hope as those boards may damage or be damaged, to have any chance u need to get the book plain and simple less expensive too.
