What kind of manual do you need. The service manuals are only given to Hobart technicians while they are attending training classes for that paticular piece of equip. I have a parts manual w/ exploded views if needed. A operators manual/guide can be downloaded from Hobarts website. You will need Model, Serial & ML # or spec #.

The Whirlpool Corporation purchased the Hobart Kitchen Aid manufacturing unit in 1985.

I suggest you contact the Whirlpool Corp. directly and ask about the availability of a copy of a user manual for your model of Hobart mixers. Whirlpool probably took over the Hobart Kitchen Aid archival records. With luck the manual you need is still in the company archives.

Have a d330 Hobart mixer was wondering if I can upgrade to a 40 qt bowl and accessories for this mixer, and if is possible, and if will do the job.been tell that I can do this upgrade but not sure thank...
one would assume that if you get a 40 qt. bowl. you will most likely increase your batch size, correct, i would make do with what you have, that mixer was designed for a 30 qt. bowl, not a 40, hence the d 340 model, but the choice is yours. i would stay with what you have, monomoy

Hello i would like to know what kind of oil to use on a Hobart mixer d300 its a 3 speed mixer the problem im having is 3rd speed runs like 1st speed could it be the clutch that is bad thank you
d-300 and d-340 mixers dont use oil they use grease -47 can be bought @any hobart office. there are several reasons why this problem can happen. try tighning the planetary nut all the way then back off 1/4 TURN .also do the same with the top main shaft nut if that doesnt work contact me back
