if its the loudspeaker that doesnt work, its hardware. but still try powercycling the phone (turn off, remove battery, simcard, memory card) leave it like that for 2mins, put everything back in.
if you cant hear the caller, bring it to your local technician.
if all else fail, yes, bring it to your local tech since thats hardware already. =)
I just had this same problem. It is a hardware issue. Call verizon back
explain the situation, they will call your phone to verify that the mic
and speaker aren't working and they will send you a replacement within
2 days.
A temporary solution is plugging a wired headset into the phone and taking it out, it will work for a few hours.
