Ball joints don't make noise. thy either work or they don't. when they don't you can have a crash since the ball joint holds the spindle in the correct angle. a squeaky noise could be from a lot of things. strut, spring, stabilizer, bearing, brakes but that would be when moving, cv shaft you would hear a clicking noise when turning a corner

What causes left front squeak?

There are a few areas that can squeak a bit after being cleaned and usually a can of WD40 will cure the problem. It's important not to lubricate the braking system, it shouldn't be squeaking as a result of turning the steering wheel. The top of the struts, strut mounts, the tie rod ends and ball joints can all be lightly sprayed to stop the noise. Spray a few things and check again, repeat until it's smooth and quiet.

I hit a median while turning left. Why does my vehicle make a loud squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel or when I hit a bump?

Please get your car checked. You may have bent the Tie rods or the control arm and the Ball joint is making the Squeaking noise. Sway bar end links and Strut bearing will also make noise going over bumps.

Does a 2002 taurus have wheel barrings

Possibilities are:
  1. Bad wheel bearing
  2. Bad tie rod
  3. Bad ball joint
  4. Bad strut
  5. Loose lug nuts
Most cases it's a wheel bearing but since you're getting a loud noise too, it could very well be a bad ball joint or tie rod end.

I have a squeaking noise in my front suspension

What you have is either a strut noise, or a ball joint noise. If the ball joint is bad, then that is your culprit, and if it is not then I would change the strut.

My 1995 Dodge Stratus is making a noise coming from the front end

Sounds like it is time for some ball joints. There is no way to grease them, and when they start squeaking, it is time for replacement. Do both upper and lower on the side that is squeaking.

Struts were replaced but there is still squeaking in front

possible sway bar links, strut bearing plates (they sit on top of the strut), ball joints, tie rod ends. If the you can make it squeek by pushing up and down on the front, have someone do this while trying to narrow where the noise is coming from.
