Wep to wap. i want to do a hard reset

Connections All Ethernet Ports (WAN and LAN) are auto MDI/MDIX, meaning you can use either a straight-through or a crossover Ethernet cable. Pressing the Reset Button restores the router to its original factory default settings. Auto MDI/MDIX LAN ports automatically sense the cable type when connecting to Ethernet-enabled computers. The Auto MDI/ MDIX WAN port is the connection for the Ethernet cable to the Cable or DSL modem Receptor for the Power Adapter 5

Virtual Printer Deleted after Windows Update....I Can't printing MDI from internet page ((( Help please ... Office 2003 SP2 Had Before This MDI Printer very Good

Hi,

First step, ( May be your print spooler service is not running )

1. See if you are able to find no printers at all in "printer and faxes" on control panel.
2. If not - go to start->run -> type "services.msc" and hit enter. Locate "Print spooler" service. See if that service is running on not. You might see "Started" in front of that means working. You can right click "print spooler" and restart once and check "printer and faxes" on control panel. If not follow step 2.

step 2:

You can reinstall the MDI printer by doing custom installation of Microsoft Office 2003. To do that follow below instructions
1. Go to Start->Run->Type "appwiz.cpl" and hit enter. This will open up Add Remove program wizard for you.
2. Now locate MS Office installation and click on "Change"
3. Check mark "add or remove feature" and click "next".
4. On the botton of the installation window check mark "choose advanced customization of application" and click "next"
5. Under "Microsoft office" expand "+" sign of "office tools"
6. Locate the object "Microsoft office document imaging". Click the icon and select "not available" and click on "update". This will uninstall the MDI drive.
7. Repeat the steps from point 2 and locate the object "Microsoft office document imaging" click the icon and select "run from my computer" and click on update.

Above steps will re-install the MDI drivers and you can find the virtual printer going to printer and faxes on control panel.

HUB failure

Are you using the 10Base2 coax outlet, the AIU port or the 8port 10BaseT outlets? Also are you using port #8 which is an uplink port and not meant to be connected to another computer? This hub, although rather old, has auto MDI/MDI-X which can accept either straight or cross-over cabling on ports 1-7 and a switchable port #8. Just make sure your cables are pinned correctly. Otherwise, hubs are meant to JUST work. Although this particular hub MAY prevent/hinder DHCP requests (it does prevent DHCP type Boot LAN requests), which means you might want to try connecting between two computers who have a static IP address and are on the same subnet.
