I have a nordyne furnace model # e3eb-017h. Furnace doesn't kick on at all. No relay click or anything but it's getting power. Did the thermostat trick with touching wires together to kick on the furnace manually but nothing. Checked limit switch too and I'm getting resistance so it isn't open circuit. What could be wrong?

Check the pilot light sensor. Have seen this issue before. Sometimes after lighting need to hold it in longer. If it doesn't detect the lit pilot wise it will sit in safety shut down mode

Check out the link for spares from that model furnace. Please note that all questions should have full 'make model (what it is)'. Not everyone can find information from snippets like I can ;>)
You need to get low voltage wire known as 5 wire. run wires thru wall to stat and furnace Red wire goes to R terminal white to W terminal Green to G terminal Yellow to Y terminal on both the stat and furnace circuit board. Now you need a wire called 2 wire low voltage wire run that from furnace circuit board to outside A/C. At furnace hook red wire to Y terminal and white to C terminal doesnt matter which ones you hook up at outside unit. Do it just like i told you this will work properly.
If this helps please rate me.
It's the heat kit in the unit that is causing the problem. You need to do a continuity test on it to eleminate that they have shorted. This is the only thing in an electric furnace that will blow a fuse on it. Intertherm is a Nordyne product for manufactured homes. Of coarse they still sell them! I am a Nordyne dealer. Also a sequencer can not cause a fuse to blow. The service guy just wants to make money from you by installing a new unit. You can either re-wire the heat kit or you can purchase a new one and have it installed. If you are referring to the heat kit for 159.00, then that's a fair price for it if you are a non licensed person.
