Shawn, get a bag of rice, put the keychain deep inside the bag for 24 hours, this should remove the excess moisture and allow you to use your car.

Loose green wier ?

Apparently, you do not have a starter inhibit relay installed. If the loose green wire is part of the alarm, it is for the door trigger.

a connection may be faulty on your siren or car horn you can find the manuals at www.crimestopper.com under support then choose manuals and manuals again you have to use the model number from under your dash not the remote because they may be different if that does not work you can contact their tech support at 800.998.6880 ext 210

Problem with Car Guard alarm

you should be able to get a replacement remote from the manufacturer. the remotes are code specific and without the remote the alarm will not go into bypass mode. the remote would be a cheaper route to go than to replace the whole unit. now if the unit is obsolete than the only alternative is to replace with a more updated version or a different brand all together. when you contact the manufacturer you will need model and serial number of the unit this will help them send you the right remote for it
