I am looking for a washing mashine that looks like a top loader but operstes like front loader - what brand is it and where ca I buy it ( they are very popular in Europe) ?

No model number given. Front Loader or Top Loader? Pulled threads are normally in front loader and is caused by a pinch point in one of the baffles. On a top loader, look for a nick in the agitator, or the type with a split agitator, a gap between the two parts.
We need to know what Brand and type (ie, front or top loader) to get you your help. Some front loaders have a filter that needs to be cleaned every so often. Access is usually in the front. Check your owners manual - look for anything relative to filter or any routine maintenance needs. If you don't have an owners manual, look up your Brand and Model number online and find (download) the manual for your machine. Then READ it; the answer may be there.

I have Samsung front loaders, love them. Direct Drive, amazing not brand new machines. I'd look at sears outlets they have tons of local stores no a days...

If the machine is 10 years old or more buy a new one!! Look at speed Queen washers1 They are commercial and have the best warranty in the industry! use the least water and wash 8 loads a week for 25 years or more! They start at about $549 for the top loader and 1299 for the front loader, BUT the front loader uses ONLY 13.9 GALLONS OF WATER! The last washer i will buy! And everyone working in my applaince store has one!

not really front loaders have top loaders beat all the way but stay away from admiral and maytag .a front loader will wash your clothes using the soap that your top load failed to get out if i may suggest buy a frigidaire with a mechanical timer not electronic control more junk on them more to fail the best combo in my mind is a frigidaire front loader and whirlpool dryer front loaders use 2/3 less water 2/3 less soap and will get your clothes twice as clean they have no transmissions and are direct drive the most common promblems with them is having to clean out the pumps where people leave stuff in their pockets also you need to buy soap thats for front loaders its called high effincey or he soap and they will get your clothes make sure you read the installation guide and remove ALL the shipping braces
