My sony ericson k550i screen hangs on pressing the calls button. i removed the battery put it back and tried switching the cell phone on. it isnt starting.

try to replace the battery if the problem persist your phone must be reprogrammed

a programme called setool lite could reset the code back to 0000

turn antivirus resident sheild off (it will report this programme as a false positive)
when downloaded extract file with winrar

turn phone off and remove sim and memory card
do not turn phone back on!
select k550 in the list
press 'identify' on setool lite
press and hold 'c' on the phone and plug usb cable in

it will ask for driver which is in the setool lite folder so direct it to there

after driver installed setool will then read your phone and displa info on the screen

as soon as that has finished unplug your phone, put sim and memory card back on and the security code should be reset to 0000

this feature is not available in this model.

As I have observed getting headset upgrades with sony ericson boosts the volume of the phone. Of course its always business to them but the results of getting one is indeed satisfactory. As of now I also can't find any sound booster. Try to get back to you when I found one.

I too use the Sony Ericson Z750a. If the phone freezes up or it does not respond to the button presses, then switch off the mobile and switch it on again. If the problem persists, you can remove the battery and and the sim and put it back again. Then you will find the mobile to be normal again.

Try removing the battery and putting it back.

If you can access the menu try doing a reset from phone settings options.

Keep start button pressed 10 seconds.

Provide more details if it still does not start.

again you call customer care centre and tell the problem it is repeating what i will do? they will help you!
