Troy built lawn tractor won't start.changed plugs.

Inside rear frame (below seat).

bypass the seat switch with a paper clip and see if it blows out again if so follow the wires and see where its rubbing on metal

Take a look at this tip I wrote on the no start problem for your mower. It should help you.

just jack it up so you can get under the deck and unscrew the bolt on center of ech blade take note on how the curves of blade are angled do one at a time incase you forget but bolt back up tight and you are ready to cut if you try to resharpen the blades make sure you balance them or they will mess up the deck bearings

You may have a pully that is not spining freely. Or you may have a pully that is not positioned straight. Ariens had a problem with that. so your troy built may have the same.

Not sure what a pont is, or what motor you have, but on some of the Troy built small engines from Honda the geniuses designed the motor with no drain plug. You have to tilt or flip the engine over to drain oil out the filler

check your belt might be off a pully or maby your spring is off

Clearly the cable either broke, came loose.

Have you checked your air filter..it sounds like it could be dirty and needs replacing..if this dont help..just comment back and i will get it..and i will help you further..Keith
